The beloved Assateague ponies along Maryland’s Atlantic Coast are more than just a pretty view—they really tug at the hearts of Marylanders. This sweet pair is a reminder of the pride we take in caring for the wild herd that calls Assateague Island home. Artist Paul DeRemigis clearly feels that connection too. A Baltimore native and mostly self-taught, Paul has a real gift for turning local landmarks into incredibly detailed pencil and pen-and-ink drawings. His original "Assateague Ponies II" was done in pencil, and we’re excited to offer it as a 16” x 20” offset lithograph.
